yesterday my boocakes took me to see Shen Yun Performing Arts.
they were AMAZING!
i was reminded of how powerful the arts are…
as a vehicle for social justice
revolution
truth telling
and the breaking down of barriers!
whatever your artform is ladies and gentleman
don’t let anyone belittle it or you!
YOU matter! and your work MATTERS!

as you may know…i have been searching high and low for the perfect craft desk.
on the way back from Africa i saw this one
i was intrigued by the fact that it could fold down...
and then…i found it’s MOTHER!
- that’s right folks…70″ of crafty GOODNESS
so it’s on it’s way! shipped today in fact. and THAT means that all of my tools and beads can come OUT of the boxes! and that my crafting can commence!
MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!! (that was my evil laugh)
i ordered it in black…and i’m thinking of using pulls from anthropologie instead of the regular lil handles on it
i’m SO stinkin EXCITED!!!! little by little i’m getting this place together…
